Refunds & Cancellations

These terms apply to professional ledger review and audit engagements with Horizon Ledger Review Bureau. They do not cover physical goods, software subscriptions, or marketplace purchases — we do not sell those.

Eligibility

Refunds relate only to fees paid under a signed engagement letter for audit, review, walkthrough, or diligence work. Informational website browsing does not create a paid transaction.

Timeframe to request

Cancellation or refund requests should be sent in writing to hello@cloudconnectivityhub.digital as soon as practicable, and no later than 14 days after you become aware of the reason for the request, unless the engagement letter sets a different notice period.

Full refund conditions

A full refund of amounts paid is available if we cancel the engagement before fieldwork begins for reasons within our control (for example, an unforeseen independence conflict discovered after signing). If you cancel in writing before we begin planning procedures and before any deposit has been applied to work performed, we refund the deposit in full.

Partial refund conditions

If you cancel after planning or fieldwork has started, we refund the unused portion of fees after deducting time already incurred at the rates implied by the engagement letter, plus non-recoverable third-party costs (such as confirmation postage already spent). Partial refunds will not exceed amounts actually paid.

Non-refundable items

  • Fees for work already completed and delivered (including draft reports you have received)
  • Third-party confirmation or courier costs already incurred
  • Time spent on scheduling, request-list preparation, and file setup after the engagement letter is signed, when cancellation occurs after those steps

Deposits

Statutory audits and diligence reviews typically require a 30% deposit. The deposit is credited toward the final fee. It becomes partially or fully non-refundable once planning procedures begin, as described above.

Rescheduling

You may request to reschedule fieldwork once without penalty if you give at least 10 business days’ notice and a mutually available window exists before your reporting deadline. Shorter notice may incur a rescheduling charge up to 10% of the engagement fee to cover staff reallocation.

No-shows

If agreed on-site days are missed without notice, we may charge for the reserved staff day and rebook subject to availability. Repeated no-shows may lead to termination of the engagement with fees due for work performed.

Work already started

Once sampling, interviews, or inventory observation have begun, fees for completed procedures are due even if you later decide not to proceed to a final report. We will provide a status summary of procedures completed.

Purchased materials

We do not sell merchandise. Reference binders or copies produced solely for your engagement are included in fees and are not separately refundable.

Refund method & processing time

Approved refunds are returned by the same method used for payment when possible, within 21 business days after written approval. Bank transfers may require additional verification of account details.

Exceptions

Engagement letters may include project-specific cancellation clauses for multi-entity groups or lender-imposed deadlines. Where an engagement letter conflicts with this page, the signed letter controls for that engagement.
