We do not ask for national identification numbers, bank passwords, or full ledger exports through the public contact form.
Purposes
We use personal information to respond to inquiries, prepare engagement proposals, maintain client relationship records, improve site content when analytics are enabled, and meet legal or professional record-keeping duties.
Retention
Inquiry records are kept for up to 24 months if no engagement follows. Engagement-related personal information is retained for the period required by professional standards and Japanese commercial record rules applicable to audit files, typically several years after engagement completion. Analytics data, when collected, is retained according to the analytics provider’s settings, generally no longer than 26 months.
Sharing
We use service providers for email hosting and, if you accept analytics cookies, aggregated traffic measurement. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or professional regulators.
International transfers
Our primary operations and filing cabinets are in Japan. If a provider processes data outside Japan, we take steps consistent with applicable Japanese guidance, including contractual safeguards where required.
